Woke Wednesday's 414

 Woke Wednesdays 414 is a platform aimed at highlighting the problems that plague Milwaukee and allowing people of all ages to share their thoughts and learn about the history and current news of their city.

 

It's important to be aware of the intersectionality's of race, gender, sexuality, and wealth, and how it all plays a role in the way our communities are shaped. And what better way to do it than through an easy to read, picture format? 

Results: ​

  • Created a viral Instagram post that got 6,000+ likes, reached 93,000 accounts, and grew the account following by 22%

  • Garnered 2,500 engaged followers organically in under a year after digitizing written blog posts

  • 7,300 accounts are reached organically on average every month

  • Featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Spectrum News, and WUWM. Interviewed by Reuters, the University of Arkansas, Fordham University, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
